Manga

Manga is the name for comics from Japan, and it has a look all its own: black-and-white pages, big expressive close-ups, feelings drawn with a few lines, and a right-to-left reading order that matches the original books. Most series begin as weekly or monthly chapters in magazines, get collected into volumes, and the popular ones often turn into anime.

You will find everything here from shonen adventures full of tournaments and long journeys to slice of life, mystery, horror and romance. The reader can turn pages in either direction, so you can read right to left like a Japanese volume or left to right if that feels more natural.

Rate what you read, talk about chapters in the comments and keep long series in Reading so you can pick up where you left off.
