This gag manga is the most popular series in Asahi Shogakusei newspaper and became a huge hit when adapted into the anime series “Nintama Rantarou” on NHK TV. The time is the Sengoku period, and the characters are ninjas-in-training who have entered Ninjutsu Gakuen.
